  1. Develop an awareness of career opportunities in business and the means of pursing such a career.
  2. Gain an understanding of the language and mechanics of business.
  3. Understand the diverse nature of work.
  4. Develop an awareness of the global nature of business.
  5. Effectively work and communicate with others. Develop leadership and teamwork abilities.
  6. Become informed, financially literate consumers as well as community contributors and good citizens.
  7. Appreciate the benefits and the necessity of life-long learning.
  8. Function in a technologically changing society.

Business Education will foster these traits through the use of contemporary curriculum, current technology, integrated and interdisciplinary efforts, and a variety of learning experiences.
