Kornfest Parade Entries

Thank you for signing up for the 26^th Annual Holmen Kornfest Parade on Saturday August 16^th.  Thank you also for your registration fee, which will go to numerous charities in the Coulee Region. The Registration Fee is non-refundable.  We plan to proceed with the parade rain or shine.  Please make preparations for inclement weather.  If the weather is severe the Parade Committee will determine if the parade needs to be cancelled or delayed.  If the weather is a threat to your person, costume, uniform or decorations we accept your right to decline to participate.

We start forming the lineup at the Holmen Aquatic Center at 9:30am.  Please come up Main St.(from the south to the north), proceed to Wall St., then go east on Wall St. to the Aquatic Center (Holmen Swimming Pool) parking lot to register.  It is easier to cross 2^nd Avenue at Wall St., because there is a 4-way stop sign.  We will give you your official number and a map to guide you to your position in the lineup.  If you have any questions please call my office at (608) 526-9364 until Friday, (608) 386-8718 up to the start of the parade if it is extremely important.

We will see you on the 16^th.  Remember the parade starts at 11:00am so please set up at least one hour ahead of time.  Please keep the area where you set up clean and do not block a residential driveway in the staging area.  For floats or groups that have more than one person, it is important to have someone from your group check in and register at the Aquatic Center because there could be a slight change in your number and this helps us check you off our registration list.

P.S.  Do not throw candy from your vehicle.  Have someone walk alongside your entry to distribute candy and marketing materials.  Let’s make this a safe and happy parade!
