Brief History... 

Lion Arne Dufseth picked up the reins as president. This was the year of “the rags”. In spite of Lion Bob Kuhlman’s double bookkeeping, this could be our biggest project. To promote the sale of the dish clothes, five of our more dedicated members even went to the convention in Winnipeg to promote sales. Up until June we had sold $1635 worth of rags. Sunset Lions wait for Lion Ron Beyerstedt to be elected president in 1987-1988. Lion Ron Wenzel was our Lion of the Year for the many, many hours he spent insuring the success of the circus. 

Over $25,000 in cash and unaccountable hours to the needs of our communities were given by the Sunset Lions in the past 10 years.
