Brief History...

We donated $3,000.00 to Camp Winnebago from our involvement in the Circus
which was held in July. 
We had the privilege of sponsoring the first Winona Lions Clubs Joint Meeting
in January 2000. Our Lions Club was involved in helping start the first Leo Club in Winona and 2nd in the District. Lions Steve Runkle, Jake Walther and Bill Nepper were Chairs of a very successful Recycle for Sight eyeglass collection in conjunction with the Winona Post Office. Over 4000 used eye glasses were
collected. 
Held our sixth annual ham and fresh bread outing after the broom drive in Rollingstone at Lion Jim and Rosie Kreidermacherís. 
Lion of the Year was Lion Jerry Dalleska. Lion Don Justin was
our recipient of the Melvin Jones Fellowship.
