Winona, Minnesota
-
Founded by a steamboat captain in 1851, Winona's location on an island in the Mississippi made it a transportation hub and one of the world's richest cities by 1900. This legacy remains in the form of historic buildings and in an ongoing harmony with the river.

Lions Club International - Since 1917, Lions have served the world's population through hard work and commitment to make a difference in the lives of people everywhere. With 1.4 million members serving in more than 44,500 clubs in over 186 countries and geographical areas, Lions Clubs International is the world's largest service club organization. Lions are recognized worldwide for their service to the blind and visually impaired.

LionNet - A network of national and state level service sites called LionNet Nodes. They aim to promote the use of the Internet to members of Lions Clubs International, the world's largest service association. Many Lions clubs, districts, multi-districts and programs operate their own Internet websites, this site provides a directory of those resources.
